We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to take our solution to the next level of maturity.
You will be part of a small team responsible for the complete development of the platform. As the main area of focus, you will work on back-end and API development as well as connecting with graph databases. Integration with open APIs and external APIs will be part of your daily activities. You will also participate in front-end development on a limited basis. You must be a strong team player with a real open mind.

Your responsibilities
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be contributing to making our entire software ecosystem better, more user-friendly and scalable.
Some of the tasks you'll be responsible for:
You will help implementing new features and fixing issues encountered in the products.

Job Description
You report directly to the CTO.
You join the existing team of 2 FTE backend engineers and are brought up to speed to take the lead.
You are responsible for managing the implementation of new features according to our ambitious roadmap that is at the forefront of security innovation in the crypto space (estimated 50% of your time).
As the team leader you will create a pleasant working environment that inspires the team and establish a refined culture of security observability and monitoring. In the short term, you assist the CTO in hiring 3 more engineers. As you identify new roles, you will aid in expanding the team with new hires. (estimated 30% of your time).
You lead the maintenance of existing functionality of our backend (written in Nodejs, Typescript) while continuously identifying and implementing improvements in performance and security (estimated 20% of your time)
Skills and Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in Backend development.
Must be fluent in English.
You are autonomous, proactive and capable of self-training.
You have a good knowledge of Nodejs, JavaScript and are comfortable working with type systems (TypeScript).
You are a crypto and blockchain enthusiast
Experience with yarn (npm) packaging systems + Lerna monorepo management.
Nice to have:
Experience with our tools Swagger, Multistage Docker, React Native, and server management, docker-compose, nginx.

Wie is kadonation?
Kadonation is een groeionderneming die enkele jaren terug zijn intrede heeft gemaakt in de markt van relatie- en personeelsgeschenken. Ondertussen is Kadonation één van de vaste waarden binnen de markt van cadeaubonnen. Door de flexibiliteit in design, de vele personalisatiemogelijkheden en dankzij de vele Kadopartners (bol.com, Coolblue, Zalando, Decathlon…) is de Kadonation cadeaubon intussen uitgegroeid tot een populair personeelsgeschenk. We blijven inzetten op innovatie om ons product sterker te maken en bedrijf helpen waardering te tonen aan hun medewerkers.
Met Kadonation Select brachten we een handig (en gratis te gebruiken) bestelplatform uit, waarmee we onder meer de administratieve rompslomp bij het bestellen van geschenken verhelpen, en waarbij HR en procurement nog steeds het overzicht kunnen bewaren. Een echte voltreffer!

Wat zijn jouw taken?
Als interne boekhouder en financieel administratieve duizenpoot bij Kadonation sta je vlakbij de finance manager en de CFO, en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het financieel administratieve plaatje van A tot Y (Z is voor de externe accountant Deloitte). Je verantwoordelijkheden en takenpakket zijn breed en in samenspraak samen te stellen, maar van jou verwachten we onder meer dat:
• je de verantwoordelijkheid draagt over de interne financiële administratie en boekhouding in Exact Online en zorgt dat deze accuraat en up to date is zodat de externe accountant (Deloitte) tijdig de boekingen kan controleren en de aangiftes kan verzorgen, alsook dat de interne rapportering over de meest accurate cijfers beschikt
• je in staat bent om ca. 90% van de aankoopboekingen zelf uit te voeren. De mogelijkheid bestaat om de overige (complexere) boekingen te laten uitvoeren door de externe accountant.
• je de verantwoordelijkheid draagt over het debiteurenbeheer en de klantenvorderingen opvolgt aan de hand van een handige tool.
• je volgt de voorraad cijfers op aan de hand van een interne rapportering en verwerkt deze in de boekhouding
• je proactief de financieel administratie inkijkt en daarbij controleert of alles wel loopt zoals het moet lopen. Zo ga je bijvoorbeeld na aan de hand van een rapport na of elke klant wel correct gefactureerd werd en geef je instructies om nieuwe rapporten te bouwen wanneer je het overzicht wenst of je iets nader wil onderzoeken.
• je proactief erbij stil staat hoe het financieel administratieve proces bij Kadonation nog vlotter en efficiënter zou kunnen lopen en je onderneemt daarbij de nodige stappen
Eventueel naar wens op te nemen afhankelijk van het verkozen arbeidsregime (50%-100%):
• voorbereiding van de maandelijkse rapportering ten aanzien van de finance manager, CFO en raad van bestuur
• beheer van de payroll via de tooling van SD Worx
• het sales team ondersteunen bij het opmaken van de forecasting
• het opnemen van enkele juridisch getinte zaken zoals het controleren van raamwerkovereenkomsten met klanten
Wat is jouw profiel?

● Je beschikt over een bachelor of masterdiploma in een financieel-economische afstudeerrichting
● Je hebt 2-5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie
