XEOS
XEOS is a start-up active in the field of intraoperative imaging in surgical oncology. The company is currently preparing the development of a state-of-the-art PET-CT imaging systems that will be used by surgeons, oncologists, pathologists and other physicians to visualize specimens resected during surgery. The XEOS technology helps patients to avoid the need for reoperations after cancer surgery.

The XEOS team has expertise in PET-CT system design, image acquisition, image reconstruction and image processing. To support software development, we are looking for a junior software engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As R&D software engineer you will be part of a team lead by the Senior Software Engineer. You will implement the software architecture set out by the product development team. This may include tasks from systems control, GUI development, and image processing according to your strengths.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Master of Computer Sciences, Bachelor of Engineering Technology in ICT or similar through experience
• Good knowledge of C++
• Good understanding of today’s good practice in software development (i.e. test-driven,
continuous integration, code reviews...)
• Familiarity with Git and Python
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
• Knowledge of image processing is a plus but not essential

• Keep knowledge base of our software up to date
• Contribute to product manuals
